Chris Ko’s story
Helping build ER2 has been one of my greatest honors, because I get to witness everyday the power of believing and encouraging the human spirit and what that does for all of us. We get the unimaginable blessing of seeing people for who they are and who they have been created to be and it is truly magnificent. My hope for anyone who engages with ER2 in any way is simply this, that they feel special and valuable because they ARE!
Rick Krug’s Story
I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin where my adventurous spirit was fueled at a young age. From running a paper route for five years during elementary school to owning my own vending machine at the age of 13, I developed a passion to create and reinvent early – so much so that it’s what still drives me to this day.
Through 17 years in the automotive field and then transitioning into the electronic recycling industry I learned the value of hardwork. I studied my mentors, learning what worked and what didn’t for our customers and the business. I saw the potential in the industry and pulled from my lifelong passion to innovate. Step by step, I began putting the foundational building blocks together of what has now become ER2. I partnered with Chris in 2011 and we shared a common vision of what ER2 could be and imagined a company founded on and operated through a strong set of Christian values.
Potential doesn’t stop at companies, or buildings, or markets; potential can be found anywhere and more specifically in people. ER2 has become a place that unleashes the potential of our clients, our community impact, and most importantly our team members.
