Often children in foster care arrive in foster homes with little more than the clothes on their backs. These homes, while generous in opening their arms to these special kids, need very real resources, like beds, appropriate clothing, accessories, and sometimes the added perks like a bike to make these kids feel safe and welcomed. More Than a Bed houses all of these items, and now through a generous gift from our Banner Health clients, we were able to provide scanners to help them keep track of what they have in their growing space. This will give them a more accurate picture of what they can offer families who seek their help.
