Civil Air Patrol
The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) was first formed prior to the outbreak of World War II in the US for defense of the country, but has become in decades since the premier public service organization that still carries out emergency service missions when needed — in the air and on the ground.
Often key in disaster response, CAP also serves youth through its aerospace education and cadet programs, teaching critical STEM skills. It’s no surprise then that additional tech resources would help advance their vision of building the nation’s finest force of citizen volunteers. The HP Proliant servers donated will provide additional muscle to support their existing devices, and in turn the volunteers who provide support to their communities.
